Waltham Abbey Town Council is a large council, representing 20, residents in Epping Forest District, bordered by Hertfordshire to the west and two London Boroughs to the south.
We would like to recognise the council as Council of the Week as it is one of the very first to be awarded the Quality Gold Standard of our new Local Council Award Scheme. Waltham Abbey has been awarded this accolade in recognition of its impressive management of a large portfolio of functions and premises with limited resources, as well as for its excellent contribution to global events and partnership working with organisations and the district council.
