The location, there were no shortages of shopping areas. Don't waste your time. How this is one of the top 20 streets in Canada is a mystery, let alone top anything in Edmonton. It's rows of small shops which are grubby and dusty looking and not very inviting to go inside.

Window displays were comparable to a thrift store and to be honest we never went inside one shop. We had a great stay at Metterra! It is a great hotel at an excellent location in Whyte Avenue! Breakfast is good! Staff were amazing too. Customer service is great! We were mistakenly charged for beers we did not take nor drink from the room, but the staff were really helpful to resolve the issue.
